Chive pancake


Chives are ground in a pan covered with cooking oil by mixing chives, shredded carrots, and sliced green peppers with flour dough. It is usually served with super soy sauce.

In Gyeongsang-do, Korea's provinces, people mix Chives, leaves, green peppers, and red peppers with flour dough (wheat flour, floss, salt) to make it round in the perilla oil and season it with soy sauce, as well as seafood and eggs such as mussels, shellfish, squid, and shrimp.

I think the best way to enjoy chives for fatigue recovery is to make the fried chives brown. The sizzling sound and savory smell of oil make your heart flutter before you even eat it. It's also chewy with a lot of squid to add a chewy texture!








1. Ingredients for Chive pancake
Ingredients (two servings)- 100g of chives, 1/4 of carrots, 1 squid, 1 cheongyang pepper, 1 red pepper, and an adequate amount of cooking oil.

Dough seasoning (two servings)- 1 cup of pancake flour (120g), 1 cup of cold water (200ml), 1 egg, 1 pinch of salt

Super soy sauce (two servings)- 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1/2 tablespoon water, 1/2 tablespoon chopped cheongyang peppers, 1/2 tablespoon chopped onion




2. How to make Chive pancake.

STEP 1

Cut the washed chives into 4cm long pieces and shred the carrots into thin slices. Slice cheongyang red pepper and red pepper thinly.

STEP 2

Remove the entrails of the squid and wash it clean. Cut it into bite-sized pieces with legs.

STEP 3

Add the batter seasoning in a bowl and mix well. Mix all the ingredients for the soy sauce.

STEP 4

Mix the carrot, chung red pepper, and squid in the dough seasoning. Add chives at the end and mix lightly.

STEP 5

Grease a heated pan with plenty of cooking oil, scoop the dough into a ladle and fry it back and forth until golden brown. (Tip. When the oil is heated enough, put the dough on top to make it crispy.)

STEP 6

Enjoy it when it's warm with vinegar soy sauce.



You can eat it at a restaurant, and it's really nice to call it chives.
